Skyish

The intent was to start a background for a wildly colorful abstract, but as I stroked those peaceful horizontal blues into place, I could feel that same ease of tension that comes when one stands on a beach and gazes out onto the sea and sky. It is a time and place where one's worries dissolve and are lost in the immensity of space.
